The Department organizes a series of academic programmes such as workshops, seminars, panel discussions, lectures, exhibitions, quiz competitions, etc enlisting the participation of faculty, students and research scholars to enrich knowledge and also to sensitize the stakeholders on the relevant socio-economic issues placing focus on issues with gender and environmental dimensions. Department has been actively engaging in the field of organic farming to create environmental consciousness among the students.
