We offer BA Sanskrit Programme, Complementary course for BA and MA Malayalam, Common course for all BA/ Bsc/Bcom and open course for all other disciplines.

The courses offered by the department are aimed at introducing the technical nuances of the subjects like Indian Philosophical traditions, Vyakarana, Literature and Literary Criticism, Arthasastra & Dharmasastra , Veda, Upanishad, as well as Scientific literature in Sanskrit and inculcating an academic perspective in students. Also expected to enable students to use digital and functional knowledge in the field of informatics. Department also offers elective course Malayalam writers on sanskrit and Open course for the students of other streams.

In order to maintain the better teacher student relationship the tutorial system has been created. To rectify the learning difficulties of students Remedial classes are also designed.
