Tamil Alumni Association
Tamil Alumni Association (TAA ) has been formed in the year 2009 and since its formation, the association had one to two get together annually, Retired faculties who have served the department since 1978 along with prestigious alumni of the department will attend the Alumni meeting every year in the month of April or May and in the meetings. The major outreach programmes are
- Honouring and appreciating Rank Holders of S.S.L.C, Plus Two, and Degree Students.
- Financial support to Economically Backward Students.
- Honouring Retired Faculties
Tamil Association – VIDIYAL
The department has a departmental association, an admixture of the working faculty and students. Each academic year begins with the inauguration of the Tamil association by eminent personalities and ends with the valedictory programme of the association. Several programmes are hosted by the association throughout the academic year that upbuilds the prospects of the teachers and students alike.
