The Malayalam department  is located in the important part of the College, near the entrance. The building has 6 classrooms on 2 floors. Of these ,4 are spacious halls for conducting seminars and common classes. Each class has the required number of benches, desks, tables and lecture stands. One of these classrooms is equipped with digital podium and an overhead projector. The department has a compute lab with 10 computers. These are 5 laptops and 2 digital movie cameras for the academic use of teachers and students. A media room has been set up in the department. These are also 2 portable microphones for teachers to use.

The Malayalam Department is proud to have a library with over 9500 books. The library also has  a  reading portion. The Department has a staff room that can seat up to 8 people and a HOD room. Toilet facilities and hand wash facilities are available within the vicinity of the department. A water purifier is also provided  for the availability of drinking water.
