Programmes
The undergraduate programme in Malayalam started in the year 1951 and postgraduate programme in 2018.Only two colleges in Palakkad district have PG courses in Malayalam,one among them is Victoria’s Malayalam department.Expert faculty and enthusiastic students are the part of our department.
Prescribed syllabus helps the students to know different aspects and aesthetic trends in their language and literature. In that way the creativity and critical thinking of the students increases. Even though not a research centre, our two faculty give guidance for seven research scholars in Malayalam.
