Founded in 1888, Government Victoria College, Palakkad, stands as one of Kerala’s premier heritage institutions and a recognized center of educational excellence. For well over a century, our campus has nurtured leaders, professionals, artists, novelists, and poets. I am deeply honoured to be a part of this institution and its rich legacy.

Our core focus is discovering, developing, and drawing out the latent potential within every student. Beyond rigorous academics, we cultivate perseverance and a resilient spirit in all co-curricular activities, shaping our students into both skilled professionals and compassionate human beings. In today’s dynamic world, holistic development is essential. We foster an environment that prepares students across a wide array of functional disciplines, balancing a global perspective with a strong foundation in Indian values and heritage.

We offer 15 undergraduate and 11 postgraduate programs across 18 departments, enriching the educational experience through seminars, workshops, debates, and cultural activities. Additionally, our 10 research centres actively contribute to academic advancement and national growth.
