About the Department
Arabic is one of six official languages of the United Nations and fifth most spoken language in the world.
The Department of Arabic, Govt. Victoria College, Palakkad, was established in the year 1964. The Department offers language classes as common course for the first four semesters of Sciences, Humanities and commerce under graduate programmes.
The department has been maintaining an outstanding academic excellence over these years and helps the students to hold higher position in their careers in foreign countries.
The department has a library that includes more than five hundred books.
